As a Physician, you'll work as part of an integrated health team to provide and ensure continuity of care as you develop and implement patient care management plans.

We are looking for:
- an MD / DO degree from an accredited Medical School
- board certification or board eligibility in primary specialty
- current, active license to practice in Texas
- current, unrestricted DEA

What is the work?

 

Patient Care:
- Evaluates patients; obtains / studies medical histories; documents patient and clinic records
- Interviews patients; understands patient medical history, assess physical health; examines as needed
- Evaluates effectiveness of current care methods and procedures and suggest improvements
- Educates / counsels patients; explains treatment plan; promotes physical health and wellness
- Orders laboratory and radiology tests; refers patients to specialists as appropriate
- Prescribes / administers / dispenses medications and treatment regimens in compliance with state and federal statutes
- Discusses potential side effects of medication / treatment; ensures all allergy information is up-to-date
- Complies / ensures compliance with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements, and infection control protocols and policies
- Maintains professional / technical knowledge; reviews professional journals; establishes personal network; participates in professional associations
- Collaborates with clinic staff to recommend / improve patient care practices, and clinic guidelines and workflow
- Ensures adherence to HIPAA regulations

What is your background?
- MD / DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in primary medical specialty
- Current, active license to practice in Texas
- Current, unrestricted DEA
- Current BLS certification by an approved American Heart Association organization
